Description

“History of the Ruling Family of Sheikh Druddin Sadar-i-Jahan of Malerkotla” is a book written by Iftikhar Ali Khan, the last Nawab of Malerkotla. Which he had previously written in Persian (which is no longer available). Later, on the special request of Ex-Minister Law and Order Sardar Balwant Singh, Nawab Sahib rewrote this book with further additions (in English). Which was edited by renowned historian R K Ghai and published by the Publication Bureau at Punjabi University, Patiala.
From a historical point of view, this book is of great importance because in this book, the history of all the Nawabs and rulers of Malerkotla has been written in very comprehensive words by taking references from old historical books.
